Fire Station #2
The intention was to programmatically and formally create a distinction between the firemen’s private spaces versus their public work spaces. Because the work activities have a direct link with the community, the corresponding spaces are highlighted and expressed in the design. The three bays of the garage are extruded out holding up the visually concealed private spaces.
